Why us

Why the fence stays straight

We are rated 4.8 across 105 Google reviews

What people write about most is the straight lines and that the gate still swings right. Read them on our Google profile.

We walk the line before we quote it

Slope, roots, the property pins and where the utilities run. The number comes after we have seen it.

Posts go deep and get set in concrete

A fence leans when the posts were set shallow. Ours go below the frost line and get concrete, every one.

The top line follows the grade

We run a string line first, so the fence reads as one clean line from the street.

Style, height and material go on the estimate

You know exactly what is going in your yard before we start. Nothing gets swapped for cheaper boards.

We work out of Lexington

You are talking to the people who will be on your job, and the work stays close to home.

How it works

How a job actually runs

01
Written estimate first

You call or send a photo, we come out, walk the line, measure it, and hand you a written price.

02
Mark and set posts

Utilities get marked, the line gets strung, and the posts get set in concrete and left to cure.

03
Hang the fence

Rails, boards or panels go on the set posts, and the gates get hung and adjusted.

04
Clean up and walk it

Old fence and scraps get hauled, the yard gets cleaned, and we walk the finished line with you.

Called to see if they could get our fence put back up after some work we had done in our yard. Came the same day I called and did the work the same day. Because of a storm they had to come back the next day, but finished it fast. He knows what he is doing. Highly recommend Josh for all your fencing needs.

Josh is a stand up guy. Outstanding work that looks amazing. Neighbors have stopped by to ask about it and to complement on how good it looks. I had 3 vendors come out to quote me and out of all of them, two were pushy and one wanted to do just what I wanted and on the timeline I wanted to do it.

He was great to work with and was flexible to adjust the fence line while on the job. The quote was great and the quality of work was wonderful as well. I have already recommended him to some peers looking to get their fences installed and would use him again if the opportunity ever arose.

Mr. Gray and Troy the professionals! We fell in love with the quality of their work! Mr. Gray has an attitude of making his customers happy and that meant a lot to me and my husband. We love going out in our yard and seeing a beautiful fence. It was really important for us to choose the right company for this work and we selected Mr.

I highly recommend using Gray Fence Co! Owner Josh was very responsive and kept me up to date with the status of our fence (covid delays). Once the materials arrived, they were here within the day and worked quickly to complete the fence. We changed our mind of the placement and he was easily able to accommodate.

Josh installed a black vinyl chain link fence in our back yard. Although we had to wait a few weeks for the install date, Josh started when he told me and finished in a few days. He did a very high quality job on our fence. I have looked at the 'small' details in other fences and this installation is rock solid.

Ask about the estimate and any visit charges before scheduling. Confirm the scope and price before work starts.

Check local requirements and property boundaries before planning the fence line.

Yes. The old posts come out, the concrete gets dug, and it all leaves with us. It goes on the estimate as its own line.

Most yards are two visits. One to set the posts, one to hang the fence after the concrete cures. The dates go on your estimate.

Wood costs less up front and wants staining every few years. Vinyl costs more and never needs paint. We show you both and price both if you want.

Not if the gate post is set right and the frame is braced. We hang every gate on a deep set post with a steel frame or a diagonal brace.

Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Sunday Closed. Outside those hours use the form and we answer the next working day.

We cover wood fences, vinyl fences, aluminum and metal fences, chain link, gates and fence repair. Every one of them has its own page with what is included.
